I just saw a clip of some Olympic trap shooting. They were shooting with head up. How do you shoot? Do you look down the barrel?

I swing on the bird, both eyes open barely conscious of the front sight get out in front and dust it. Yeah my head is up I guess. Never thought about it. Seems natural to me.

My left eye overtakes my right eye dominance when my gun is mounted. So I close an eye and look down the barrel

HMMM, Just watched a video of the mens final, all had their head down. What was more interesting is the all
their guns were 'low rib', not a raised rib in the group. P_102
