Have no plans of running that one but it should be a beast in the AR platform. It would also make for an interesting short range thumper in a bolt action.

A 300/gr XTP cooking along at 2,200 - 2,300 fps makes me feel all warm & fuzzy. LOL

What does it do that a 45-70 doesn't? Just think of it as a 16" Semi-Auto 45-70 with a 20/rd detachable magazine.

What does it do that a 45-70 doesn't? Just think of it as a 16" Semi-Auto 45-70 with a 20/rd detachable magazine. Yeah.. basically fit in an AR-10.
