Corn. Sometimes a little smell good/attractant/feed mixed in with corn that the local feed store is promoting.

Have always used a corn/protein mix, but have recently tried corn/soybean and everything seems to be showing up, including crows, pigs and coons.

I'd have to look at the tag next time to tell you the name of the mill.

I have put protein in with corn, and won't do it again. If it rains, the protein will absorb the moisture and get sticky. It will clog up at the bottom of the funnel very easily. YMMV.

I've put Behrend's (Luckenbach) Game Blend or Trail mix in my Sweeney for years, year-round, and have never had the pellets swell. I have seen it happen with other stuff.

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

Corn in limited amounts but I have a free choice protein feeder in every pen also. I put out a lot corn with the road feeder to put deer in areas where the wind does not effect me when I hunt.

I just use Mumme's apple scented corn, HEB sells them. I just use a separate gravity feeder for protein for antler growth and mass. Chad, try a 55 gallon barrel, its what I used for protein / corn mix and seems that the wide perimeter / flat bottom of the 55 gallon barrel keeps the rain from getting to the feed. It never got sticky or wet. Just make sure you use a heavy duty galvanized lid that covers the outside of the barrel plus a funnel on the inside. I have 3 of those feeders.

There is this new stuff on the market called corn. I had 2000+ pictures last year of deer eating it.

Nothing but corn. I tried attractant once and ended up with a colony of bees that emptied 300 pounds of corn in a couple of weeks. I will put out mineral licks on game trails but inside the feeder pen either a corn feeder or protein feeder. Just don't mix protein with corn in a spin cast feeder.

I think those expensive deer attractants are designed to attract hunters dollars more than deer. Plain 'ol corn works as well as anything and it's way cheaper.
