Wife came home with this $4 shelf from Ikea for some craft project. Well, I am taking it to put in my deer blind instead. Checked it and it holds binos and coffee mug perfectly. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40070185/

it has two screw slots recessed in the back so pre drill two short screws into your wall and slide it over them. Sits flush on the wall.
