I am training my Labrador retriever for hunt tests and field trials (and obviously hunting) and now that he is getting older and more advanced I am looking for new areas to train besides public areas. I live in Dallas. I am looking for some land with water (tanks/lakes). Some topography would be nice as well. I am NOT looking to hunt on this property, simply work my dog. Thanks in advance. I am willing to pay a fee. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks Ken. I am already a member of Lone Star HRC. It's a wonderful club. Was looking for some other options.

Not sure if its too far, but what about the Grasslands in Decatur? I train my pointers up there, you can shoot a gun if you need to introduce a gun to your lab etc. up there. You can call the ranger office and they will send you a map with all the ponds (there are about 15 or so up there). Just need to wear a strip of blaze orange during hunting season
