I have to give a big thumbs up to Covert. In Bearclaw's thread below, Bornforit posted on the new data plans that Covert is offering which unless you're a pic monster, are a bunch cheaper than a new to ATT data plan.

I hadn't heard of them, so I called Covert and asked if you could use the new data plan with an older 2014-3G camera. You cannot, but they've sent me an RMA and for $150, I can trade-in my 2 yr old camera for a new one. You don't hear about service like that often, so I thought I needed to publicly thank and recommend them.

That's not a bad deal to upgrade.

If anyone gets the camera and gets 2 notifications from the app every time there is a pic sent its a bug. When I first got mine it was doing that. Sent them an email and they fixed it very quickly. That's been over a month ago and appears to be running fine.

Its the first one I have gotten and I am very impressed with the images it has on the app. And the ability to change every setting on the camera from the app, or appears to be.

I would strongly suggest getting the cable for external battery pack and building a 12v external battery with solar panel for it. It ate through the batteries in about a week with standard rechargeables. Since then I added the solar panel / 12v battery and it stays on full charge. Would hate for someone to buy one and put it out 300 miles from home only to find that out later.
