To any/all THF friends..... If you receive any kind of email or Paypal notification bearing my name from Guadalupe Outfitters...... Please be advised that I have not been affiliated with Guadalupe Outfitters since Jan. 15, 2016. I have tried to stay out of the crosshairs given the controversy surrounding this organization, but feel the need to clear the air. Since June of 2015, my inability to cash paychecks left me in a compromising position. I decided it best to stay on to service the hunters whom I accepted deposits from on behalf of Guadalupe Outfitters. I also felt a fiduciary responsibility not only to those hunters but to the 3 guides who depended on these hunts to support their families. Patrick, Brandon & Billy did an outstanding job guiding & taking care of the hunters. I feel like I did the right thing by all parties concerned to the best of my ability. Sadly, I still have not collected all that was due to me. After leaving Guadalupe I started Hill Country Hunter Outfitters and was going out on my own. After selling hunts for some great ranches, I was offered & accepted the Hunt Coordinator position with Agua Vida Ranch. We are currently redesigning our website... Should be finished by the end of June. I hope my THF friends will continue to have the confidence in my ability that I have enjoyed as long as I've been a member here. I love what I do and am looking forward to moving on. Agua Vida Ranch is an amazing place run by committed and professional people. I'm looking forward to working with my THF friends and Agua Vida. I have kept very precise records of any hunts I booked for Guadalupe and have assisted anyone that has needed my help. I will continue to do so. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to clear this up.

Let me weigh in with my $0.02 here. First, I did one hunt with Cody/Guadalupe Outfitters and I had no issues. After Cody left, my daughter and her BF did a couple of small hunts with Mark. Again, absolutely no issues. So my PERSONAL experience with them was good. HOWEVER, since then, I have had several trusted friends fill me in on some on the shenanigans that have happened and I was very disappointed to here some of the experiences others have had. Mind you, I was told a number of "items" from multiple, independent sources. And heard both sides through the grapevine. Because of this, I feel I can no longer recommend, nor even comment on that outfit - although myself and my daughter would hunt with Mark again.

Through all this stuff, Diane has been very upfront, truthful, helpful, and has earned my respect and support. Therefore, I have no problem recommending Diane to anyone looking for a hunt. While I have not personally hunted with HCH - yet - I wouldn't hesitate a second to book a hunt with her & HCH. She is honest, knowledgable, and I am sure she will treat everyone fairly and bust buns to make sure everyone has a good experience.

To Guadalupe: Well, I also sincerely hope they get their collective caca together and resolve all the issues. I truly believe that - at the root - there are some good people and properties at the core. I hope the good prevails and the bad and ugly are excised. It may be a tough road back to earn the respect and trust that were lost with some folks - but I really do hope reputations can be restored and a history of positive experiences can be established.

Hopefully you can collect like I did.

I hunted with Guadalupe Outfitters in May 2015. When I hunted both Cody and Diane were great and I had a great hunt. I hate to hear that things with Cody have went south but I will gladly vouche for Diane and the great services she offers to her hunters. There should be no reservations for anyone to hunt with Diane she is top notch all the way and will take fantastic care of you. Best of luck in you new endeavors Diane. - Travis Elmore

Yeah it could of been a really great operation! Diane was doing a great job on her end. The other half just sucked at money managment.
