Here is our newest blind. We set it up on the top of our levee at the tree line. There area out in front of it will have about 18" of standing water. We will be planting the area out front in japanese millet. We plan to plant alamo switchgrass all around the blind so hopefully we won't have to do much brushing in once it starts to proliferate.

Thanks guys. We had a chance to do some work this past week. I will be interested to see how the design works. We are going to use some springs on the back of the roof so it will pop up when we shoot. We put in a bench, planted some alamo switchgrass and eastern gamagrass all around it. We found this cool dead cotton wood tree that will we add some bracing to so we feel safe parking the Mules under. The girls even said it will be a good beer drinking spot. Pay no attention to the baby being put in harms way.

Finished with the 'heavy lifting'....just need to add our dog boxes and more natural vegetation to make it blend a little better.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE
