Anyone here ever use an outfitter in Arizona for black bear hunting? I'm looking for a recommendation for a spot-and-stalk hunt, no baiting or hounds. I see lots of options on the web but I'm starting from zero, so I'd be grateful for any advice.

Try talking to David Pereda at Yavapia Outfitters, I have a friend/client who has hunted with him on multiple occasions and highly recommends him, the hunts were several years ago but at the time he was running a top notch show for spot & stalk in AZ. His number is 928-899-7823, tell him Leon referred you.

I highly recommend Dan Adler with Diamond Outfitters of AZ (http://azdiamondoutfitters.com). He and his crew are awesome; very smart and extremely down to earth. Spring hunts are a draw but the fall hunts are OTC.
