Anybody have any updates on how the birds are this year? Last year was a bust on our place, heard a few from time to time during the fall.

Also, anyone ever been out to Lake Woodson? Our place is near there and thought if the birds aren't cooperating may be nice to wet a line and catch a few fish if I can.

We hunt South of You, Just North of the River and last fall we had very few turkeys, saw one group of about 20 (Mixed Jakes/Hens) just after T-giving, which is better than we had been seeing over the past 3 years or so. 2 weeks ago we were down there and Heard 3 different Gobblers and some Hens on the Roost at Daylight. They were Vocal for about 30 minutes. Pulled the cards on the cameras and they started hitting the feeders mid/late Feb. Looks like things are picking up in the area as far as turkeys go. Drought was pretty rough on 'Em! Lake Woodson should be full!!
