When charging your cases, what is the fastest method?

1. Lee Dipper
2. Little Dandy
3. Regular powder measure
4. scale (balance Beam)
5. Chargemaster, will they meter small charges of Trail Boss, ETC?

How about for bullseye, match loads, Balance beam each case?

I use my Dillon 550 for 9mm and 45acp. I use ball, flake powder so I can maintain plenty tight tolerance. I reload for target but I believe they would be fine for silhouettes also.

I have been using a Charge Master.
I had over charge issues until I implemented the "Straw Trick".

There are other Nozzle Cures if you look a few posts back.

It can also be reprogrammed, but I haven't done that.

It seems slow, but when using a single stage press, the next charge is ready about the time you have seated the boolit from the previous throw.

I use a charger for most mid range or light loads and never had a problem. If I am doing hunting loads with a full charge then
I weigh each charge just to be safe.

RCBS Uniflow checked on an Lyman balance beam every 10-20 fills. I also have a back up electric to help verify.

That's single stage.

I use an Auto-Disc on the turret (when I rarely use the turret).

Pass the gravy.

UniFlow. It's quick, easy, and most handgun powders meter well enough through it.

Any kind of a powder dump will work fine, if not on a progressive press.

Use my chargemaster for everything. I find if I let it warm up for a good amount of time it reduces the number of overthrows.

Charge Master, programmed and checked with another digital scale. I charge, seat the bullet, and the next charge is ready, repeat.

Hornady Lock n Load powder measure.

My range load for 9mm is .5gr below max, .357 is 1.0gr below, so just measurement by volume works out just fine. I'm not doing silhouette shooting or anything, so being a bit less accurate isn't going to hurt me.

I use the lee powder measure. But I make every round weigh the same. If I was just in it for speed, I have noticed that the lee powder measure can be off as much as .4gr +-. .2gr on average though

This method helped me on the over throws. Few other tips that I started trying, keeping my phone several feet away and keeping the pan off the scale when storing. Not sure which one was the fix or a combo of all. Rarely have over throws now. I bought the inserts a while back and threw out the straw. It works well.

i use one of my uniflow measures,
the one with the small micro screw,
or sometime i use lee dippers.
i charge the way i was taught. i
adjust as close as i can, checking
with a scale (not hard to get real
close with the micrometer screws)
until i'm on the nose. then i charge
a loading block full of cases and inspect
them all under the light to make sure
they're all uniform and i didn't
double or forget any, and pull a
few at random to weigh.then proceed
with the loading process.
lee dippers can be very consistent if
used properly and not like an ice cream
scoop like the kids on yoo-floob do.
they're dippers, not scoops.
