I love my YHM 30 Phantom QD. Shoot it on all my rifles it is good up to 300 RUM and good for SBR's down to 10.5" with the exception of 300BLK which you can go down to 8.5" barrel. Life time warranty and pretty cheap.

Rimfire or Center Fire? Rifle or Pistol?
I have two SilencerCo Spectre II, I use them on my 22 lr pistols and 17 hmr rifle. Very happy with them and they make it quite to shoot 22 lr and 17 hmr.
I have a Silencer Havestor on my 308 and it reduces sound very well and completely eliminates any recoil.
I have a AAC TiRant 45 with cams for a 45 and 9mm. I really like it on my Glock 19 9mm it reduces sound and there are no function issues. On my Glock 21 45 ACP I am still trying to figure out which recoil spring to use for proper functioning.

I am waiting on a crux for My 338lm on down. 7.5 in long. Talked to Chad and he recommended this one to me.

In no particular order...
SilencerCo (excellent CS) Yankee Hill Griffin
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Wow, no love for Dead Air? They are quickly rising in popularity and customer service is prompt.

Never shot any Dead Air stuff.
I have SilencerCo, AAC, and Bowers suppressors. They all work great. If I were buying one today for a centerfire rifle, it would be one of the new Thunder Beast Ultras. And actually, I might get the TBA 338 Ultra when it comes out.

Have the Crux Archangel on a bolt gun, Crux Ark 30 on an AR10 platform and Silencerco Saker 7.62 on a 6.8 SBR. All are great cans

I only have one and seldom use it since the new wore off. I bought a Liberty Mystic because of it's crossover compatibility. Gemtech and YHM seem to be the most popular because they have the largest dealer list. The Mystic absolutely rocks on my .308 bolt gun. It's decent on my .300 black, but shooting subsonic suppressed just left me with too many questions. Great for target and plinking, but not very solid for take down. http://libertycans.net/mystic-x/

There are a TON of great options out there right now.
What's your purpose? How many do you want? What's the application?
I went with a SilencerCo Omega (mine is in ATF jail right now) because it's small, very light, suppresses very well and can handle every rifle I own (10.5" 5.56 AR to 7mm Mag). It's easy and cheap to get muzzle devices for it (often for $70 vs $120+ for many others), and it gives me everything I need. SiCo will also warranty repair stupid once. I don't put stupid past me.
Dead Air, Crux, Thunder Beast and many others make fantastic suppressors too. It's hard to say that any choice is "wrong". But it's hard to give you a "best" choice without more information

I have a Griffin Optimus sitting in jail right now.
I chose the Optimus because it can do it all, .22lr to 9mm to .300 win mag. I am not expecting it to be the best of the best on each of them nor any single one. I think this trades a bit of performance for modularity.

It's hard to say that any choice is "wrong". Choosing a JJFU suppressor is wrong.

I shoot for Crux and can't can't say enough about the 30 Nemesis. It only adds 4" of OAL to my SAC Rifle and is hearing safe to be that small. In fact, I got off the phone with Curtis a little while ago to order another one of his cans.

What is the going rate for Crux? Aren't the pretty high compared to the others? Seems like when I bought my Omega for ~$800, the Crux competitor was ~$1300.
Love my Omega, BTW.

They're about that with the mounting solutions. I have several cans but the Nemesis is the only one that fits my needs to use in competition or general barricade work.
