Just purchased a CMMG CBR and plan on putting a Vortex Viper HS LR 2.5-10x32 on it for deer/hog hunting.

What kind of accuracy can I expect? Anyone else with any experience hunting with one?

That's what I hunt with. Use a 1-4 SWFA on it. I've never measured groups but can touch shots at 100 and have taken it out to 800 yards with a 12x SWFA fixed power. Love this gun have thought about selling it a few times but would have kicked myself. Glad I kept it.

Good deal. I've been wanting one since 2013 but never pulled the trigger. Seems like a helluva rifle for the price.

So I got my CBR in. For $1800 to my door I got the rifle (practically brand new), 360rds 145gr PPU FMJ, 10 twenty round PMags, and a set of Magpul BUIS. Helluva deal if you ask me. Sold off what I didn't need (4 PMags, 300rds ammo, the BUIS, and the SureFire brake) and brought the price down to $1400. laugh

Replaced the ACS-L stock with a Magpul MOE Fixed stock (just like fixed stocks more, at 6'4" with long arms the collapsible stocks don't do much for me) and changed out the standard buffer/spring for a JP Silent Capture Spring. Put a Vortex HS LR 2.5-10x32 on top. Have yet to shoot her but cannot wait till Friday. Expect to shoot Chad's 178gr A-Max outta her with good results. Here are a few pics.
