Will this buck be able to grow a normal left antler again?


He looks pretty good in the field until you notice the left antler is messed up. Do you think it may be normal next year? he looks pretty good in person now. If he grows normally next year i think he will be a hoss!

It's hard to say! It depends on the type of injury to the deer. If it's from injuring his antler during the growing time frame then yes, it will recover and be normal.
It could also be genetic in some cases. Only way to know is try to identify a deer next year having the same trait.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Hard to say from that one pic, but I think it's a good decision to let him walk either way. If he does grow back a normal antler, that's great. If he's had an injury that's causing abnormal growth on that side, then you may see some neat non-typical stuff on that left beam. Either way, he's a shooter for sure next season.
