Hey folks, new rifle came with a bushnell trophy xlt 1-4x24 with illuminated dot. came without a user manual and I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn on the red dot.... Can someone help me out? Or point me in the right direction for an online source for a manual??? Google wasn't much help...

Thanks, Dave

According to all the pictures there's a nob on the left side. Across from the windage adjustment.

Some scopes do not come with the battery installed or has tape over a contact so cannot get turned on and run the battery down. That knob on the opposite side from the windage knob has a cap for the battery and the knob for using the illuminated dot.
