I'm not sure if the picture will load or not, but I found this buck today when I was filling feeders. He appears to have been shot in the right shoulder. The thing is, I haven't hunted this stand for two weeks until this morning. He was lying about 70 yards from my feeder. There is a creek that runs beside the feeder, so it is entirely possible that he was shot somewhere else and headed to water, that is what I'm hoping for.

Not long. Maybe 2-3 days tops.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Going to disagree a little. I'd say a week or more. Looks like birds have been the only scavengers. Definitely done a good job on the coyotes, otherwise he would have been long gone. I would be suspicious that somebody was hunting your place.

I pulled the camera and every morning and afternoon that feeder has been covered up with deer, until Saturday morning. Since Saturday there have been no more than four deer at the feeder at a time. I also have four pictures of a bobcat strolling by the feeder. This morning when I was hunting I had four does walk in and they were very skittish. They were only at the feeder for about five minutes.
The place is locked and my son and I are the only people that hunt out there. It could be that one of the landowner's kids decided to hunt my stand, but I find that highly unlikely. I am good friends with both their son and their son-in-law.

My initial thought was maybe a week or so, and you don't have many coyotes.

Really depends on where and how cold but less than a week, prob 4 or 5 days would be in the ballpark!

If AR county definitely no legal. I don't see a dog catcher on the far side, that would make him legal if it's not there. I agree with the 4-7 day estimate; my initial thought was 4 before I scrolled down.
