 Hair on Whitetail hide tanning

Anyone know the going rate for a tanned whitetail/hair-on hide around the Houston area. I only have one quote and it is $150 which seems high. Any recommendations?

$150 is about the going rate. Usually have to go through a taxidermist. They will prep hide then send to tannery. Every once in a while u will find a tannery that will do it for the public. But most of the time it's through a taxi. And 125-185 is going rate.

Granted I am not in Houston, but 150 is the going rate for a full hide here. Out of curiosity I visited a few taxidermist's websites based in Houston and that seems to be about right too (some places higher.)
