You'll probably get a lot of response saying either or are good, which is true. My vote is Seekins because it seems like they're a little cheaper these days. Have u seen the following?

It's Seekins billet set. This is a killer deal if you're not wanting some very specific handguard.

PSA blemished dude.. Take the money you saved and put it towards a good barrel and trigger.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

What is your intended use? For precision a billet receiver might be best. For a carbine or short range I would not spend the extra money on billet. Something else to consider...while it is true there are only a few sources for the forgings, the precision of machining varies from manufacturer. Spikes has a good reputation but BCM, JP, and Mega have a reputation of much tighter tolerances on critical dimensions. Mil-Spec dimensions are not very tight in this case. Just my 2cents

This^^

Of the 30 or so lowers I've assembled, I have seen no difference in overall functionality between a PSA blem lower (my favorite), and anderson lower (second favorite), to RRA, BCM, Noveske, and one or two billet lowers put together. Finish may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but specs are all pretty much the same. I have seen even higher end builds have play between the assembled upper and lower. Doesn't affect accuracy or functionality.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of spikes lowers - the two that I have built up did not drop free with pmags. Purchased those about 2 years ago, don't have any experience with recent production runs.
