My Ford F-250 was broke into between 1300-1830 in Rockwall. Apparently I'm the 15th victim with this truck in Rockwall in 2 weeks. They punch out lock with screw driver. Very simple. Stolen was kimber solo stainless, Crimson trace still in box for the solo, kimber stainless ultra carry ii, RIA 22 tcm 4" single stack with vz grips, 250$ cash. Beware out there fellas. If this doesn't belong here then please move but thanks.

Whoops, I'm an idiot. I knew 1-630, but I was thinking AM.

Bummer...

I don't make it a point of leaving handguns (or any gun for that matter) in a vehicle but when I have to...they are locked up as best as possible.

Best $35 I ever spent. Not full proof but better than the armrest or glove box!

Sounds like someone knew what you had if they were breaking in at hospital parking lot during prime hours.

Should never leave guns in vehicles. Even with the best gun vaults they make, truck could be stolen, taken to remote location. They will get in the gun vaults. Never leave anything inside the truck that ya wouldn't leave on top of it.

Sometimes it's unavoidable. Sounds the the OP couldn't really avoid it. Every gun in the car was there for a reason, and he was on the way to the lease. If I stop for lunch on the way to hunt, I lock my rifle in the truck under a blanket. Can't really do much else.

Sure hate to hear this. I freakin hate thieves and hope you get them all back. One other option for securing your firearm's, is a pair of handcuff's.

Run one end thru the trigger guard and the other around the seat frame where it bolts to the floorboard.

Realize nothing is fool proof, however the more difficult the access, the better.
