I have a big old Wusthof that has a broken handle. I was planning on doing it myself but upon further inspection it is probably a little beyond my skill set. It has a semi-hidden tang. You can see the tang from the top but not the bottom. So it's a one piece handle. I probably want to stick with wood but I'm open to what kind. And I'm not in any hurry. I'd be perfectly happy sending it to somebody and whenever you can get around to it is fine.

A little more info will probably get a few more responses...like How long is the handle, how thick, width, is it straight or is it tapered, pics.

Will do. I'm out of town for the weekend. I'll get it done on Sunday evening.

As I recall the handle measures approximately 5.75x1.75x1

On a side note, Bob I bought a little knife from you a year or so ago that has been a great little knife. Thanks.

BillyBob, here on the forum did a great job for me putting a new handle on a knife.
I highly recommend him. He is a great guy also.

OK, here are the pictures. I said before that I want to stay with wood. I think that I would still prefer that, but if whoever does this would prefer to use something else I am open to other ideas. Thanks.
