Captain Jack calls me and says I need to come over and check out a buck that was shot on his place. Scooted on over there and was pleasantly surprised to see this 15 pointer hanging from the tree. Asked his dad for the scoop on how it went down, he chuckled  Said they were in the ground blind and the deer walked within 10 yards eating acorns, he (dad) had to wake up his son (Hunter), when Hunter shook off the cob webs the deer was at the feeder 80 yards away and nailed it. Another interesting part is they were hunting on a 20 acre parcel that Jack has up the road

The look on that kid's face is priceless. He has no clue what he has done, but he'll figure it out eventually. Beautiful buck. Congrats to Dad too for keeping his cool.
