Had a great opening weekend with friends in erath county. Was one of the best openers as far as deer numbers in a long time. We saw several good bucks with a lot of potential. And even got to shoot some pigs. Bucks were chasing does all over the fields. A buddy got a pretty good buck, but the one I'm after never came out. Guess I'll have to go every chance I get this week until he comes out. Hope everyone had a good hunt this weekend

If you look back over your life are you fully satisfied you pleased the Maker of Creation. Are you fully assured that you have trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, for your salvation. Are you confident that you have a definite hope of going to Heaven?

What part of the county were you in? I'm north of Stephenville and I didn't see any sign of rutting activity.

Nice buck and good activity. We used to have a fsarm/ranch outside of Duffau TX, not a huge number of deer, but there are some real toads running around if you're lucky.

Rut seems to be starting in Comanche county. We observed numerous bucks chasing, running nose to the ground and saw a couple square off.

We saw a few younger bucks and one TOAD, just couldnt get a shot off. They're definitely on the move.
