I just returned from Double k outfitters. This was my fiance first trip to Texas and first hunt for exotics. Also on her hit list were some hogs. Kelly the owner/guide didn't disappoint. The first afternoon we saw a bunch of different exotics and she got her first hog. The next morning as the sun was coming up she spotted a chocolate fallow. She asked me what I thought. My exact words were if You Don't Shoot I'm Going To! She didn't give me enough time to grab my gun. Dang It! At the end of our 4 day hunt we ended up with a fallow buck and 9 hogs. Not bad considering the temps each day were flirting with 100 degrees. If you want a hunt that you can take your whole family to definitely give Kelly and Katrina a call. We left knowing we made some great friends!

I thought I was going to get heat stroke. I guess I should have put camo paint on my legs. Lol. I don't get to wear shorts very often.

That is a beautiful fallow buck and a ton of great hogs. Kelly and Katrina are great folks. I have been enjoying Double K Outfitters for 3 years now and I have NEVER been disappointed! It looks like you guys took that fallow at blind #7. That is one of my favorite blinds on the ranch. It is also where I took my fallow this year. Next time you go back, make it a point to get in a little bass fishing in the pond (if you didn't already). We spent a very warm afternoon down at the pond. Great fishing and just a fun way to kill a few hours between hunts
