I suggest two chokes. I use 3 inch #2, #3 or even #4 pellets in a cheap Remington shell and an IC choke when they decoy early in the morning. As long as they decoy I stay with that combo. When they start hanging up on the outer spread I switch to my Pattern master and 3.5 BB. The #2 pellet out to 35 yards will simply crush a goose. I carry my shells in plastic coffee cans in my blind bag in case we are laying in water or it rains, they are protected. Two of these cans will fit in a blind bag. Switching shells is merely a selection of this can or that can. The tube takes 30 seconds to change.

I personally like the Kick's full choke. I know people that use the Patternmaster goose as well. Both get the job done.
