I have a yeti 65 and 20 and really like them (a little heavy) but overall work well. A buddy told me about the Pelican brand coolers. Does anyone have this brand or know anything about them compared with yeti????

I have one and love it. Can't compare my experience with the pelican to that of a yeti since I've never had one.

But I vote Pelican! Everybody and their momma has a Yeti

I only have a Pelican. I think they have better latches.

Check out Icehole coolers.
Made in Texas. Military grade components, extra large drains. Love mine.

All of the roto molded coolers are about the same. It's a matter of which features you like best. As long as you pre-cool them and cool whatever you put in them, ice retention will be about the same. I'd buy the one you get the best deal on.

I have a new brand called Taiga. They work as goose as Yeti but are less expensive. They also have a Cano 27Qt and 55 Qt that looks awesome. The 27qt is 239.00 and the 57Qt is 339.00

Igloo is making a 55 quart roto-mold for Sam's Club exclusively. It is priced at $199. It kept a 10 lb bag of ice frozen for 6 days for me. It is as good as any cooler on the market.

I have a Pelican 65 quart and like it alot. The Pelican's seems a little nicer than the Yetis to me. It is heavy like the Yeti. I got mine on Ebay for way cheaper than the Yeti.

I have Yeti and Pelican coolers. Both are equally great in performance. I like different things about each.

My ONE complaint about the Pelican is the drain plug. It resembles the cheap igloo/coleman type drain plugs, and I dont see it lasting very long.

The Rtic's are involved in a lawsuit with Yeti and have been for a while. People have been on the preorder list for a while.

Look at RTIC coolers. Fixing to order their 65. Way cheaper than YETI or Pelican and built the same. Check out their website https://www.rticcoolers.com/

Check shipping times before you order!
They are in a lawsuit with Yeti and have had the coolers on pre-order for a while.

Give us a good look! Our coolers are Made in USA and have custom lid graphics, dual drain plugs, a built-in ruler and true to size capacity (e.g., 50 Quarts = 50 Quarts). There about $80 cheaper than Yeti on average.

Our coolers are backed by a 5-Year Warranty. We've been manufacturing coolers since 2011 so you can rest assured we'll be around to handle any warranty issues although I'm confident you'll be more than happy with it.

Use coupon code "TEXASHUNTING" to save $15 on any roto-molded cooler! Thanks!

Just rolled out some cool new hats too!
