Im on the cutting edge of a truly all wildlife food plot. Everyone knows I'm a fan of squirrels and squirrel hunting and now after years of research, and 30" of rain, I have developed the aerial food plot. These are peas that have grown 12' into the trees allowing my squirrel herd to eat without being exposed to predators. All joking aside this plot is insane, I timed it right and the regular rain has grown bigger and more plants than I've ever seen in a plot. The deer are hammering it too, and the hogs haven't destroyed it. The only thing I found the hogs dug up and I'm not even sure what this plant is but a hog pulled it and ate the root.

I think EPA should be notified, they look like some sort of mutant plant, maybe FDA and USDA should also be notified of this "problem".

I grew lablab that did the same thing, main crop was 4-5' and it was up in the trees where there was a tree.

I have seen Red Ripper Peas and Lab Lab do that same thing. I had Lab Lab growing up in Cedars and Yaupons one year when it kept raining. Seen Red Rippers growing down in Cotulla at a loading dock up the protective cage 12' in the air. It was from spilled seed and a lot of rain. I have heard of Lab Lab growing up onto and on top of center pivots in wet years. Glad you got the right year with the rains. They will hammer it sooner or later though.

Awesome!
We missed this year. A few years ago we planted a summer plot of millet and clay peas that grew about 5-8 foot tall.
