8000ac ranch just outside Bandera we have one of the largest herds of black buck in the state trophy quality is outstanding. Axis are very good quality as well we have taken up to 36in on axis and up to 27inch straight tape on our Blkbuck . Trophy fee's are as follows $2000 for a blkbuck of hunters choice . $2500 for Axis also of hunters choice. We will try and get the best one . Guide fee is $250 per day for up to a three person group if you want a 1x1 $250 each hunter includes transportation during the hunt and from Kerrville or Bandera. Axis are best hunted now, during summer because that's when most of them are hard antler and in their peak condition. Blackbuck can be hunted all year, but in the winter months their cape turns black and in my opinion, that's when they look the best. If you are wanting to have it mounted, then make sure you know the difference in how they look if you want a black buck that is actually black
