Does the moultrie pro magnum unit use a 1/8 or 1/4 shaft. I need to replace my spinner plate and failed to determine the motor shaft size while in the field.

1/8" shaft is a small highspeed motor and the 1/4" shaft will be a much larger motor and bit slower. My guess would be a smaller motor since Moutrie makes economical feeders and that motor is much cheaper to build with.

If the center stud is aluminum and large enough you could always take a 1/4" bit and drill it out while you are there. That is if the set screw will still hold it on the larger motor shaft.

If the shaft is 1/4 but if its 1/8, I have to have 1/8, or jb weld and look the other way.

Are you going to buy the spinner plate local?
If so buy one of each and return the one you don't use.

I would not use jb weld. The motors and spinner plates don't last forever and if you ever have to replace either one your @%@%#%.
