Is it okay to give my 6 month od female Lab ice cubes? I've heard no, but not why? Can anyone shed some light for me and my hot Dog?

I empty my ice in my dog water often in the summer. Never had a problem.

I've heard they can crack a tooth, just like a person. I still give my lab one now and then.

If that's the case, I guess no bones for your dog either?

Never heard of a problem, mine get ice, bones, etc

My brother is in the ice business. His CBRs get a 16 lb bag a day in the summertime. They do fine with no problems.

There was some bs story going around that it was dangerous to give them ice. Like I said bs. But just realize that if the dog is hot and you give them ice they may vomit. When their stomach cools too fast, it causes the vomiting. I give mine ice all the time but just cool water while running.

Mine eat them like they are going out of style. Even the French Bulldog joins in.

Cocktail hour is very popular at our house!! Ice cubes anyone??
