As the title says I'm looking to learn how to do taxidermy. I'm from Carrizo springs and was wondering if there were any shops around the area where I could maybe help out to pick up on the trade. It's something I've always been interested in and am looking to get into it now that I have more time off. Or any info would be appreciated on where to start. Wouldn't mind traveling to Uvalde or eagle pass or anywhere within an hours driving distance from home on my days off. Thanks for any and all info.

check out Taxidermy.net....You will either have to find someone doing taxi work on the side or drive further than an hour. Most guys aren't going to want to teach someone that close to them, in fear of loosing future work to them.
