They have a 1200 lumen model at Walmart too, only $49 but the thing was too big for what I was looking for.

The 500 lumen model is nice, it's the right weight and size. Seems very tough. The different modes are very
cool. I'm happy with the purchase. Also it turns out 500 lumens is plenty for my needs, I was able to shine
it right down the fairway and see over 200 yards and totally lighting up my neighbors homes across the width
of the fairway (maybe 130 yards).

The red is not very bright, just enough to get around at night and not lose your night vision.

The blue is really dim, but plenty to see blood 10-15 ft in front of you.

Shoot 500 lumens for $40 bucks is not bad at all!
