The whole state should be in bloom with all the rain. Do you know what the plant is in the 2nd photo. Nice photos.

The whole state should be in bloom with all the rain. Do you know what the plant is in the 2nd photo. Nice photos. Nope. I gotta dig in the plant book I bought from an extension agent last month. It was at eye level when I was crawling up out of a creek to go look at an old blind.

Last month the Sotol blooms in Comstock were unbelievable. Probably more than I have ever seen out there.

Between Sheffield and Sanderson. That's a bit further west than me (North of Brackett) but I swear it looks like the higher rocky areas on my place. The better soil down in the bottom where I put my food plots is crazy high (waist deep) with native grasses now. Only seen it like that once before back in 2007.
