Just finished booking my trip to hunt with Extreme Bowhunting in Brackettville Texas. It took a little doing but we managed to get everything figured out. We have booked the 4 day Extreme Safari for Mid December (13th-17th). We had to do a little heavy negotiating as my hunting partner didn't want to commit unless we could lock down the ranch for our group. Sometimes trying to get everyone to hand over their deposits is a lot like herding flies, but we managed to get enough done that Caleb gave us the "green light". Sent off deposits in the mail Monday All that is left is to start shopping airfare. This hunt will wrap up a great year that included 3 wonderful trips to Texas.

This will be my 3rd annual trip to Extreme Bowhunting (coming from Washington State). These are great guys and certainly worth checking out if you are looking for a fun vacation/hunt that wont break the bank. Caleb is a awesome guy that will work with you to make sure your hunt is exactly what you are after. "Boots" is a super guy that will help ya with whatever ya need. Last but certainly not least is Champagne (Caleb's amazing "Blue Lacy"). She is a hunting machine and make all but the very worst shots still end in victory. That is the most awesome dog I have EVER hunted/tracked behind. Give them a good hard look for your next bow hunting adventure "You wont regret it"

Thank you, Walkabout. Just found out they added an exciting new package. It looks like both myself and my hunting partner are going to upgrade. The new package allows you to try for a red stag too, for $500 more. I have not seen any on my 2 trips but 3 of the guys with me have seen at least 1 each. It might be a bit of a long shot (no pun intended) but I figure if I don't do the upgrade I will have stags all over my blind every set
