Nearly bought one but the fixed muzzle brake was a deal breaker so I bought the ATH (1560X) instead and am very happy with my purchase.

Yep. Mine was accurate. I would recommend based off my experience.

Thanks. I've heard good things on the R3 competition. A good friend claims he's getting 1/2" groups at 100 yards with his. Mine will be for fun, hunting, and self defense in that order.

I don't own it but a good friend has one with a 1-4 scope, it's not quite a 1 inch gun, but it very well could be with a better optic. I like it but couldn't justify the price, I just ordered a AR for $559, for its intended use of fun and hunting as a truck gun it will work great. The muzzle break really does work withthe rifle, but shooting next to barricades seems as if it throws more blast back on the shooter then a regular M4 comp

I have a WTB listed on this forum, but anyone know of a place that might have one in stock around Ft worth? I called 2 places in weatherford and 1 in ft worth today with no luck. Heck, one place never even heard of the R3 competition

The few people I know that have them ordered them directly through RR, seems not many people know about them and nobody stocks them.

There is a Dealer Locator tab on the RRA website that lists all the stores in Texas, and there's a guy on Gunbroker that has three for sale at $1290 delivered to your FFL. Sorry I don't know of anyone that has one.
