I have a Sako in 25-06 with a 24" 1:10 twist barrel. My question is will it stabilize a 120gr NP or should I start with a 115gr? I currently have 100gr NP.

Yes it will stabilize the 120. But I think you will find the on game performance better with the 100gr bullet. 120gr really slows the bullet down and you cant take advantage of the velocity the 25-06 is known for. I wasn't impressed with the 115 or 120 NP's in mine compared to the 100gr at 3300ft/s

I've had similar results with all 3 on whitetail. No tracking needed. I prefer the 115 around 2900fps, but I am not all that concerned with speed. Find the one that shoots to your liking, and I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome.

Any of them will work, never owned a 25-06 but have had good success with them in the 257 Roberts and 257 WBY. In the Roberts I really liked the 100gr, in the WBY there is plenty of speed for any/all of them

I like and use the 100 grain for years flatter shooting.

I went with the 100 gr Nosler BT in my 260 to get a higher MV. The 120 was great on deer, and was better (faster) at knocking em down, but the 100 grainer works just fine and zips along at approx. 3100 fps in my short barrel. I like a MV of about 3000 fps in my deer rifles. Keeps the trajectories about the same in the various rifles and requires less thinking at crunch time.

I don't have my load books with me right now, but I would expect that the OP could get 3000 fps with the 120 gr Partition. If so, that's what I'd use instead of the 100 grainer.
