This hunt was on a night with terrible conditions for thermal. 80% + humidity with standing water. Even though the conditions were less than ideal we were still able to take 10 out of a sounder of 12.

With the MK II we are able to detect hogs past 1,500 yards of it's a dry night. They look like tiny white dots until around 300-400 yards.

The bae core looks better then the flir cores, I own.
Humidity not necessarily primary factor for thermal clarity. I have noticed dew point and ambient temp play a major role on the effect the humidity has on clarity. The closer the ambient temp is to dew point the worse the image is. When its raining 100% humidity thermal still works, as I was able to shoot hogs when I^2 nv did not produce a usable image in heavy rain. Once temp drops below dew point thermal works best for areas I hunt.
