They seem to have pretty good prices on Can-am/Polaris/Kawasaki Mules & Teryx

Woohoo get to pick up my new Can-am today (Tuesday) just picked up a Trailer to Haul & store it in. Going to Lock the trailer to a Big Tree @ the lease & use it as a portable garage & storage( also going to insure both trailer & Can-am) other hunters have been leaving there Hunting rigs at the lease with no problems for the last few years. It helps that the camp area is over a mile off the closest road and behind locked gates. It was a pain in the @ss to find a trailer with over a 72inch rear opening thru the back ramp and a 7 foot interior height. Can-Am height @ top of roll bar is 72 inches. Most trailers I looked at had 6 foot or 6.5 interiors but the door opening would be 5.9 to under 6 feet.

If you're going to leave that trailer out there, I'd go ahead and pull the wheels off and take them with you. Take the lug nuts, too. Anything to make it more difficult if someone should happen to take a liking to it.

if you even get close to that 70 mph mark I hope you have your life insurance paid up. All jokes aside that looks nice congrats. Now you get to start dolling it up roof more lights and so on take your time and enjoy.

Drove to Greenville this afternoon and picked up my Can-Am / not so fun in the rain and traffic, then over to Krum at a buddy's place and played with it for a hour or so. This is not your everyday ATV , it has some serious power. Very smooth suspension, will not beat you to death( after six hours on a ranger a few weeks ago it was a night and day difference) seats are ultra comfortable. Very easy to hit 50mph in a short span , that is about fast as I went today. Will save the top end runs for another place and time. Pretty quite / idles and runs smooth without a lot of vibration ( v twin vs. a single cylinder thumper motor). Lights are fairly awesome - 240-W from four 60-W projectors . Just got home 11pm got to hit the hay.

And yes it was Fun, That little taste I got today was not enough. Need to get it out of my system so I will behave on the lease and not piss off the Mule Skinners and Polaris drivers

good idea on both suggestions ! Already started with a roof , by winter it will have a soft cab & heater. Sound will probably be Blue tooth speakers ran from my HTC M9 phone. (can always use the Bluetooth speakers & phone w/ Ruger IHunt app for predator Calls) & maybe some of the night hunting lights ( not sure if it will be red lights or IR light to go with my NV scope)

That is also a excellent idea also thanks

I did insure both trailer & Can Am thru Allstate: Trailer was cheap / Can Am not so cheap ( basically anything that happens to it - natural/theft/my fault/ your fault or anyone gets hurt & anyone driving it is covered ) $502 per year

Finally got to take it too the lease this past weekend. Its the only one like it on the lease, so some of the guys took me a "Scenic" Trip around a 3000 acre W. TX. Lease & it was not the well traveled roads either not sure they were ever roads to begin with .

Across fields / valleys / rivers / crawling up rock Mesa's / flooded roads etc etc . Loaded up w/ 2 big guys . I think it scraped one time crawling up loose rock face. Ran Great / no problems / all were impressed. I was pleased how it handled the rough stuff - took me a while to Trust it on some of the places we went but it never did anything bad just took it in stride. My passenger told me later he was kind of scared at first on some of the rock climbing but came away impressed also.
