Has anyone handled or fired the new Mossberg Patriot rifle? I was looking for a knock around rifle in 30-06 and this was one I noticed this morning.

Wonder if it's the replacement for the 100 ATR series? I haven't looked at their lineup in awhile.
If it is, I'm sure it's a nice rifle. My brother has a 100 ATR in .270 that we got for $250 new that's a sub-MOA gun. Good trigger, but crummy stock.

Rifle shooter has an article on it this month. Haven't read it yet but did see that it's a replacement for the ATR and 4x4 models.
