We keep after them and just maybe we get what we want. If we lay off and let them stew then we will certainly have a fight. My guess is they snuck it in on purpose, and only admitted to it as a mistake after the fact was found and made public. That is if the sheeple public didn't notice. Thankfully somebody was watching, and we were able to react this time. Vigilance is key.

THIS IS THE TEXT FROM FOX.... IT READS LIKE THEY HAVE JUST SLOWED THINGS DOWN AND NOT ABANDONED TRYING TO EVENTUALLY BAN THE AMMO.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is shelving a controversial proposal to ban a popular type of bullet, amid opposition from hundreds of congressional lawmakers.
The ATF said in a statement on Tuesday it would not seek to issue the final guidelines "at this time." The proposal pertained to M855 "green tip" ammunition, used in the AR-15 rifle; regulators looked at banning it because can pierce police body armor.

"The issues raised (so far) in the comments ATF has received to date will require further consideration, and fully processing all of the comments will take time.
