This weekend I picked up a Ruger American that was a display rifle for a local hydrographics company. They said the process was... Degrease Duracoat (white) Hydrographics dip (clear with black "break up" pattern Duracoat (clear) Does this sound like the usual process? How should I care for it? Wax periodically? Any type of cleaners or solvents to avoid? What is the durability of the process mentioned?

I'm not familiar with duracoat, but any kind of gun/reel scrubber (brake/carb cleaner) will dissolve the hydrographic film, as will deet.

Brake fluid will dissolve Duracoat.
