Ok I am possibly saving for a savage model 12 LH in .308 - savage riffles have a set of letters after the model no. Can anybody help me identify what one this is? And of course the stock is aftermarke...

Stock is a Choate...not sure of model but Savage made these factory. It's a heavy stock and definitely not viewed as more than an entry level rig.

Looks like a 12 FLV (L = Left Hand Bolt) in a Choate Ultimate Varmint stock.
The FV line are good rifles! I had a 12 FV (right handed) in .308 several years back and it shot one ragged hole at 100yds. One of several rifles I regret selling...
