I got uo at 0400 yesterday and canned a batch of pickles. Then I made a huge batch of shrimp gumbo with the shrimps hogman gave me. In between those projects I made a push to finish the frame on the ducktoon boat. I am nearly done. I am having trouble figuring out what I am going to do for the shooting doors, fall away, saloon style, no windows ect???

Looking good. How you going to see where you're going with that thing brushed up? Might need to deck the roof, and put steering wheel on top.

Guy look right above the winch strap. That up right pipe will be a hinfed door. The door will be a 2.5 foot door right in the center of that wall. There are 4 doors that will open inwards or outwards. One for each wall. I wil be able to see fairly well with that alone. I will also have a window at the center console and the whole left side of the boat.

I tell you what made a HUGE difference in workability. You see that orange ladder? Setting that up instead of using the trailer tongue ladder made an incredible difference. It was a whole lot easier to make a lot of trips up and and down. Last time that tongue ladder really hindered the operation.

Must have been that "wild caught" shrimp that got you working so hard.

It was good. I canned 3 quarts that were left over.
