Anyone hunt around Hockley County

I am new here and am supposed to go to Hockley to do a mule deer hunt...kinda a DYI hunt..can anyone tell me if there is much of a population for that county and are there any feral pigs?? If some one has a picture of one they've killed there is appreciate it

Do you have a description of the place? Does it have CRP land or ag? Sand shinnery nearby? Center-pivot irrigation? Lots of open country out that way. If you're near sandhills with shinnery, maybe some ag close by, it should hold deer.
