 Upgraded my Academy Foreverlast Road Feeder for $25 to Throw Corn Better!

We have a few tailgate feeders and the 50 lb one from Academy got the least amount of use because it sort of just poured corn out instead of slinging it. I looked into what the problem was and it turns out the spinner plate is like a bowl and the guard around it almost goes all the way around. I decided to add one of these spinner plates I bought on Amazon for $22. What a difference it made!!...holds the corn in place while you drive on bumpy roads. I saw the spinner plate on a high dollar Lamco Road Feeder. Throws corn way better than before in a 20' pattern. Pro Spinner Plate by Harvant Feeders. Be sure and get the correct shaft size. I used the 1/4" and it has worked fine. I bought mine off Amazon for $25 shipped to my door. The Eliminator I don't think will fit unless you remove the entire lower unit and replace with the entire Eliminator Unit for $100.

Spinctech has a spring loaded spinnerplate out now for $19.95. It works on the same principle as the eliminator but with less working parts. looks good.
