I bought a stripped AR-15 upper a while back, maybe two years ago, maybe less. I was going to build it but found a great deal on a complete RRA upper and I went that route. So now I'm sitting here with an upper and I do NOT want to build another gun and I want to sell this. The problem is, I can't remember who I bought it from and who the manufacturer was supposed to be. It has the keyhole symbol indicating it was machined from a Cerro Forge blank, and it shows the number 8000615 inside where the gas tube pokes into the upper. Those are the only markings on it.

I've googled the number and it doesn't seem to mean anything. Anyone have any ideas on what I've got here?

All the references I find are of letters, saying who it was. Not numbers. Good luck sir

Your inbox is plumb full. But I'll tell you this, Cast has offered me his 2012 F-250 Powerstroke...but what I really want those three boxes of Auto Match I know he has.

You do this, and we'll knock down all your ARs and then true up the receiver faces. I have the tool.
