Decided to go on a little 4-day "Killcation" with some of my buddies. Ended up slaying ducks all over. From gravel pits, to the river, then off to the coast, it all worked out. Couple off of our wood duck limit on the river with non-stop action for 20 minutes starting at shooting time, just group after group haulin' it up river. Awesome time. Pintails & redheads flooded the coast, couple bluebills. Teal flooded the gravel pits, 3man limit in 20 minutes. Couldn't have asked for more. Totaled out with 66 ducks over 4 days!

now that is what I am talking about-
good shooting- still a bit sketchy in N Tx- gotta really fool them to shoot good numbers........if there are any to shoot!
We are off about 20-30% from last years 170 total.
See what these fronts will bring!
Congrats

The front this weekend brought us nothing bought tons and tons of birds. 30k+ down there this weekend. Shot an 8-man limit in damn near 30-45 minutes on Saturday, straight pintails and redheads, and a few bluebills. Went on more of a gentleman's hunt this morning, and came out with some goldeneye, a widgeon, and our limit of redheads & pintails, all very nice drakes...and then a bluebill hen. Overall, this weekend was a solid shoot with the front. 27 degrees for 2+ hours on the coast. We'll just have to see what this week brings. Thanks guys
