I live in Tarrant County

Yeah lots of activity and several young 2yr old bucks 8pt's and a 1.5yr old 8pt I named Mr.Perfect. He is almost 13" now so I hope he sticks around for a few years cuz he will be a stud at 3.5 or 4yrs. That's just my South wind stand too deer2

I'll be feeding year around with some seasonal food plots so if I can keep the doe's belly happy I think a mature buck will slip up soon. I'm after a 9pt or a crabbed G2 buck that I think is 11pt... not sure yet.

Cant wait for the extended doe/spike season. I have a spike picked out to harvest and he's a cubby rascal

food

Nice young bucks

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

The 8pt with the curled brow tines I named him curly. I thinks he a is 2 1/2yr old and has 14-15'' spread in the 110ish class csi

I could be off so some experienced deer aging eyes would be grateful

Couple more pix from last week. I've been waiting for a South wind to get back in there. Seems to be two new 8pt coming around.

Curly is coming in during daylight more and more so is SpongeBob Spikepants up

Held off on a nice 2.5yr old typical 8pt this morning. Prob 15-16" wide could have been a young deer I call Mr Perfect but I'm not sure. The two mature bucks the 9pt "dirty" and the crabbed G2 buck I have not seen in weeks now since he circled me and flew out like superman.

I've decided to pull out for the year and let the young boys and girls play till next year. Look forward to shed hunting tho...

I orderd a half angus this morning for the freezer grill
