I spend christmas in a house full of wifes female/children family for a week in austin each year. It only takes about 2-3 hours and im ready to find the tranquility of the woods.
I am looking for someone in say a 50 mile distance of austin that would allow me to shoot jack rabbits for them or predators, using a safe high powered air rifle or maybe with permission my 223.
I am a retired army senior nco and marksman. I would greatly appreciate any help finding a place to enjoy this xmas.
Thanks
Sfc ahr

Better off taking a fishing pole. Not very many jack rabbits in Austin area

Check FT. Hood. I saw em out there regularly. But I don't know what the post regs are with deer season going on right now. I saw one the size of a small deer on west post one day.
