i decided to give my bow a try for the first time a couple weeks ago. I got in the stand around 5 and waited, no movement. around 5:30 cows move in the area and start coming near my blind putting their head in and licking the screen. All the while theyre yelling and making a ruckus. After 10 minutes they walk off and a couple of jack rabbits move in. I decide to go ahead and test my accuracy and fire at one, high and sails over it, they scatter but come back. I shoot another arrow and stops the jack rabbit in his tracks. After I wait in the stand another 30-40 minutes and walk out as the light fades, as I walk to the feeder I see a large mature doe staring at me. I crouch down and decide to send a shot at her. I mustve not been able to see the pins because the arrow sails over again! I kick the dirt in frustration. I managed to lose an arrow that night, my fault.
