I move the Vortex Viper from 7 Rem Mag, to 7mm-08, to customers rifles as needed. The scope is sitting in Talley Tactical rings, and as long as the recieving rifle is wearing a one piece pic rail base it's like swapping wheels from one pickup to another. Rezero when it arrives on a different rifle, of course. But when it moves from one to the other it's still on paper and a wind adjustment and elevation adjustment they typically only need one shot.

Badger Ordinance rings will work too. The key is that there is a 1/4" nut (1/2" hex) on the windage bolt. No flat head screw and the clamp that the nut is holding on comes off with the nut. Scope, and rings stay married together and you just have to rock them to the side and all three come off in one piece. Clear as mud?
